Ms. Sarah Hart '22
Sarah Hart is currently attending Mansfield University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History. She is from Wellsboro, PA, and graduated from Wellsboro Area High School in 2018. She spent her first semester after graduation at Bryn Mawr College, a women's liberal arts college near Philadelphia, PA.
Sarah has been named to the President's List for three consecutive semesters in recognition of earning a 4.0 GPA. Following the Spring 2020 semester, she was given the Outstanding Junior Award from the Business Department. She has also been awarded numerous scholarships from the Mansfield Foundation based on her academic credentials.
As an active member of the campus community, Sarah partakes in many different extracurricular activities, and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Student Government Association. Her primary responsibilities for this position include serving as the Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, keeping accurate reports of SGA funds, and managing all budget hearings and requests. She also acts as the Treasurer of the Flashlight, the student newspaper, and as President of Enactus, an organization that uses entrepreneurship to create projects that benefit the local community.
During her time at Mansfield, Sarah has held several on-campus jobs. These include working at the Offices of the Registrar, Student Accounts, and Student Life. She has also been a writing tutor that has helped students with their writing and English assignments. She plans to continue to work as a tutor and as a student worker at the Registrar's Office until her graduation.
In June 2020, Sarah and three other Mansfield University students were recognized for placing third in the Conference of Bank Supervisors (CSBS) Community Bank Case Study Competition. They were chosen out of 37 teams from 18 different states based on their superb analysis of how community banks meet Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Sarah Hart is currently an intern at C&N Bank, working in the office with the Chief Financial Officer and Controller. She hopes to continue her internship in the fall.
