


Mr. Meyer has been a member of the M.U. Council of Trustees since 1997 and is currently the Council Chair. He received his BA in Economics and Mathematics from Syracuse University and his Masters in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Meyer served as the President and CEO of Guthrie Healthcare System from 1982-1998 and has since been President and Chief Executive Officer Emeritus. Prior to this, he held several other positions within Guthrie such as Vice Chairman of the Donald Guthrie Foundation for Education and Research, President of Robert Packer Hospital, President of Robert Packer School of Nursing, President of Guthrie Enterprises, President of Guthrie Inn and Conference Center, President of Sayre House, Inc. and President of Darway Nursing Home.
